About Edge Patterns

Edge Patterns is an independent knowledge project created by Samir Caus - a solution architect with experience in various technical and client facing roles across Adobe products including AEM, Target, WebSDK, Campaign, AEP, AJO etc. It's a collection of practical frameworks, patterns, and guidance for building modern digital experiences at the intersection of Architecture, MarTech, Personalization, Data, Performance, etc.

Most digital-experience content is either too abstract or too detailed. Edge Patterns aims to fill the gap: straightforward patterns you can apply immediately, written from hands-on experience designing, integrating, and troubleshooting real systems. The focus is primarily on the Adobe stack - AEM (Edge Delivery Services), Adobe Target and AJO Experience Decisioning, WebSDK - but the patterns are modular and adaptable.

What You'll Find Here

Architecture principles, personalization & optimization patterns, and dynamic content approaches for performance-sensitive environments - along with playbooks, reference architectures, and tools as the project grows.

Built With

The site runs on Edge Delivery Services using Document Authoring as the content layer - a living example of the patterns documented here. Source code is on GitHub.
